Editorial Policy: How Convly Researches, Writes and Uses AI

This page explains how Convly’s articles, data and tools are made, what we check before anything is published, and how to tell us when we get something wrong. We think readers should know exactly how a publication works, especially one that uses AI.

Who runs Convly

Convly is an independent publication founded in 2026 by Mustafa Ihsan, who is responsible for everything published here. Convly is not owned by, or paid by, any AI company or hardware maker mentioned on the site.

How we use AI

We use AI openly, and we want to be specific about where:

  • Drafting. Many articles are drafted with the help of AI language models working from primary sources — the developer’s own announcement, documentation or pricing page — that are collected before writing starts and supplied to the model with the brief.
  • Translation. The French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Arabic versions of each page are machine-translated from the English original. Product, model and company names are kept in their original form.
  • Images. Article cover images are generated graphics, not photographs of real products or events.

AI is not used to invent experience. We do not claim to have tested, benchmarked or measured anything we have not. When an article reports benchmark scores, speeds or prices, they come from the source named next to them — usually the company that made the product — and we say so.

What is checked before publishing

Every article passes a set of checks before it can go live. An article that fails one is rewritten or not published:

  • Sources. It must link to the primary source for its main claims, and every link must resolve.
  • Grounding. A separate review compares the draft against the collected sources and rejects claims that the sources do not support.
  • Names and versions. Model and product names are checked against our database dei modelli AI and the vendor’s own pages, because AI models are new enough that a wrong version number is a common error.
  • No invented testing. Phrases that claim hands-on testing, measurements or personal use are blocked unless the work was actually done.
  • Usefulness. Articles must answer a real question completely, with a summary up front and answers to common questions at the end.

Data and tools

Il database di modelli, il Calcolatore costi API and our other free tools use prices and specifications taken from each developer’s official pages and documentation. When a figure has not been published, we leave it blank rather than estimate it. The full dataset is published openly under a CC BY licence so anyone can check it.

Independence and money

Convly does not accept payment for coverage, rankings or reviews, and no company sees an article before it is published. Any advertising shown on the site is served by ad networks and has no influence on coverage, and any affiliate link we use will be disclosed next to it.

Correzioni

AI news moves fast and we make mistakes. When we find an error — or a reader points one out — we fix the article, and when the correction changes the meaning we add a note saying what changed. To report an error, email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. We read every message.

Updates

Prices, model versions and availability change often. Our guides and data pages are reviewed and updated when the underlying facts change; news articles describe events as they stood on their publication date.
